Pedro Bonnin

Artist Biography

Pedro Bonnin is a self taught artist from Cuernavaca, Mexico. His work is a fantastic voyage into his imagination. His style and characters have a whimsical quality, but his deep symbolism is anything but flighty. His subjects, both serious and amusing, are thoughtful expressions of his life experiences and consciousness. Bonnin's themes are filled with a spiritual understanding culturally distinct from the northern European tradition. He describes his art as a mirror of ourselves. "My characters are like small actors in the theatre of life and my art is like a message in a bottle."
